In the Fall of 2022, Judge Amy Pucket began the process of Hickman County becoming an expansion program of CASA of the Highland Rim.  On May 30, 2023, Hickman County was recognized as the second expansion program of the Highland Rim by the National CASA/GAL Association. On July 1, 2023, the first staff person was hired to work exclusively for Hickman County.
